Seismic Brace Assembly for Pipes
Lateral and longitudinal sway brace for suspended pipework, made from slotted channel, a pipe clamp and hinged connectors anchored to the structure.

Application
Sprinkler and fire main pipework is braced so that a seismic event cannot pull the piping away from its supports or its connections.
Fire-protection piping is heavy, pressurised and often the largest pipe run in a ceiling void. Braces are placed at intervals along the run in both the lateral and the longitudinal direction, with the pipe clamp taking the load into the strut.
QINYU supplies seismic clamps for the pipe diameters used in sprinkler systems, together with the channel, hinge connectors and anchors that complete the assembly.
Standards are quoted as the design reference used in our technical documentation.
Products for this application
Lateral and longitudinal sway brace for suspended pipework, made from slotted channel, a pipe clamp and hinged connectors anchored to the structure.
Two-bolt clamp for lateral and longitudinal brace connections, covering pipe outside diameters from 72 mm to 228 mm with a stated design…
Hinged end connectors that let brace struts meet the structure and the pipe at the required angle without site drilling or welding.

Send the service layout and the pipe or duct sizes and we will match the braces and supports to the installation.
