Product data

Technical information

A pipe brace assembly transfers the horizontal seismic load from the pipe to the building structure. The assembly on this page is built from two slotted channel struts set at roughly 45°, a pipe clamp at the pipe and hinge or swivel connectors at the anchor end.

The components are produced as finished parts. GB 50981-2014 requires that all components of a seismic support be factory-made components rather than site-fabricated sections, which is how these assemblies are supplied.
