The cantilever arm is a channel section with a welded or bolted end plate, fixed to a wall, column or embedded channel. Arms are listed in 41 mm and 72 mm channel with projections from 300 mm to 600 mm.
The arm carries the load in bending, so the projection and the channel section are selected together with the pipe weight and the support spacing.
